Client Services Manager

Covering services in Gloucester and Stroud

Permanent full time (37.5 hpw)

Want to lead a team that really cares and empowers customers to live their best lifeJoin us as our Client Services Manager and lead our ABS Gloucestershire team covering properties in Gloucester and Stroudto deliver person centred housing related support and make it a Great Place To Work for our colleagues!

Youll manage our services which house customers experiencing multiple high level support needs including alcohol and substance misuse mental health and homelessness in 4 properties raging from a property with 12 selfcontained bedsits to a self contained one bedroom flat.This is your chance to unleash the potential in our colleagues delivering excellent outcomes for our customers!

Typical day as a Client Service Manager

  • Leading our team of support workers and coordinators youll help us deliver our person centred efficient quality housing support services to our customers aligned to our contracts
  • Youll coach your team and manage individual and team performance
  • Youll be a Safeguarding lead for the team and oversee the health and safety checks and risk assessments are completed and recorded
  • Youll promote the service ensuring that its visible and accessible to referring agencies and selfreferring customers and promote our brand in the community
  • Youll ensure the quality of the service evidenced by KPIs and customer satisfaction surveys and empowering customers and colleagues alike

You have

  • Great people skills ability to communicate and understand where people are in their life
  • The confidence to challenge behaviours that are not aligned to our values and the ability to advocate for your customers
  • Ideally youll have experience of leading a team and have the knack for empowering and developing others
  • Experience of delivering support in a housing or care environment
  • To get from A to B youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship we are not able to offer sponsorship toexternalcandidates for this role. This remains under regular review.

Our team

Youll join Richard our Senior Client Service Manager and Rea our Cheltenham based Client Service Manager to manage and lead the our ABS Gloucestershire team to achieve high levels of support and exceptional outcomes to a large and challenging client base. Were super passionate about what we do!

Were really proud of the difference we can and do make to support customers to achieve independent living. We are a supportive team and work hard to ensure this is a relaxed and fun environment to work in.

Job details

  • Flexible working hours (or were open to agreeing a work pattern with you)
  • You will manage own diary while ensuring the service has full coverage over a 7 day rota.
  • Able to use technology
  • Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
