The purpose of the Indigenous Relations Department is to plan support coordinate and advance Cultural Safety through research & development continuous business improvement initiatives and priorities identified by the Indigenous Advisory Committee Leadership or provincial mandate.

About the opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a growing team to advance reconciliation activities within the disability sector and with Indigenous partners across the province

As the Manager Indigenous Agreements Services & Partnerships you will lead initiatives across the province collaborating closely with all teams to advance CLBCs relationships with First Nations Mtis Inuit partners Indigenous service providers and urban Indigenous agencies. This dynamic role focuses on service design and Indigenous partner engagement to support our goal of: Service Delivery to Support Cultural Safety. The successful candidate will work with a moderate level of independence overseeing the negotiation development and maintenance of Indigenous partnerships and agreements.

Location: This position can work from any CLBC office.

Travel: Regular overnight travel to communities within the CLBC catchment area and to CLBC Head Office in Vancouver is required for this role. Possession of a Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract is required.
