About the position
Councils Family Health Support Service Department is looking for a casual facilitator of the Baby Makes 3 program.
Baby Makes 3 is a group program for firsttime parents that promotes equal and respectful relationships between men and women during the transition to parenthood. This program forms part of Frankston City Councils Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Services FirstTime Parent Group program.
Baby Makes 3 is a series of two 2.5 3 hour evening sessions cofacilitated by a pair of male and female facilitators. Facilitators present information and guide participants through discussions and activities as a large group and as smaller groups of mothers and fathers separately. The strength of the program lies in the group work approach where parents are able to see that their experiences and challenges are shared by others.
The program covers topics including:
Successful applicants will be required to undertake Baby Makes 3 Facilitator training which will be provided via Frankston City Council and accredited by and facilitator competency accreditation must be achieved prior to any group facilitation.

This is a casual role working varying hours per week; shifts will be 3 hours per day on various weekday evenings (6:00pm to 9:00pm).
This position is aBand 5 currently remunerated at $51.07 per hour plus superannuation. Overtime will be applied to this hourly rate as required in accordance with the current Frankston City Council Enterprise Agreement.
