Due to a recent promotion The Hilton Melbourne is hiring a Catering Manager! The ideal candidate will have 2 years of hotel catering sales experience and will focus on selling and servicing both social groups and weddings. Must have flexibility to work weekends based on business demands. Prior experience with Delphi FDC OnQ PM Cvent is preferred but not required.
What will I be doing
As a Catering Manager you will be responsible for the development of market segment(s) including solicitation of new customer relationships negotiation of business through proposals and contracts to close business. Maintain and grow existing relationships with hotels social accounts. Ensure consistent highlevel service throughout the contracting preevent event and postevent phases of events. Directs event logistics to affected departments and team members responsible for event execution.
