As a Database Developer youll work closely with development and analytics teams to ensure the integrity performance and scalability of our database systems. You will be responsible for developing efficient SQL queries optimizing existing code and supporting both SQL Server and PostgreSQP environments. Designing developing and maintaining database solutions using SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Writing complex SQL queries stored procedures triggers and functions
Collaborating with various teams to support datadriven initiatives and integrate database components into applications.
Build and optimize workflows to support analytics reporting and operational processes
Design and manage database schemas tables indexes and other data objects in SQL Server and PostgreSQL
Ensure data security integrity and compliance with industry best practices.
Monitor and optimize database performance including query tuning indexing strategies and resource utilization
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for datarelated issues
Document data workflows database structures and ETL processes
Prepare maintain and develop documentation methods and best practices for data processes
Monitor and troubleshoot databaserelated issues and provide timely resolutions for internal and external clients.
Required Skills:
3 years of experience as a Database Developer or SQL Developer
Proficiency in SQL Server and PostgreSQL including database design query optimization and performance tuning
Strong knowledge of database design normalization and performance tuning.
Experience with scripting languages such as Python Java or PowerShell
Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration techniques
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality data solutions
Solid understanding of data security and compliance requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a crossfunctional team
Other Requirements:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure etc) and their data services is a plus
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
Experience with backup and recovery strategies
