Connections Program DirectorFullTime
MondayFriday

WellSpring Solutions is seeking a fulltime Connections Program Director to provide care to our members.

Our dedicated team members build strong loving bonds with the older adults they care for and in return they receive genuine appreciation from participants and their families.

At WellSpring Solutions we offer services for Alzheimers dementia and memory care as well as provide emotional support for family caregivers.
The Connections program is ahalfday adult memory day care program for adults with Alzheimers dementia or other memory loss. Connections provides group respite care for part of the day allowing individuals who are caring for family members an opportunity to have a break from caregiving responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
Utilizing team approach to provide and/or conduct activity programming for respite hours work with other Program Directors Connections Memory Care Specialist and Volunteers to plan and organize special events entertainment.
Procure/arrange for all required supplies and equipment including meals.
Prepare monthly activity calendar and newsletter
Lead/assist leading activities as scheduled
Keep abreast of current information pertaining to programming appropriate for respite participants.


Position Requirements:
Shall be at least 21 years of age and a minimum of a high school diploma or GED and two years of postsecondary education from an accredited institution of education OR is required to have a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience working with older adults / adults with disabilities and their families.
Ability to supervise staff including volunteers and to plan and coordinate meaningful staff/volunteer training.
Shall have or be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
Valid North Carolina drivers license.
