Job Description
Provide supervision for the Methodist Hospital Environmental Service & Centralized Transport operations consisting of approximately 170 employees providing 24x7 for the development of policies procedures standard work. Partner with IS&T for technical processes employee health safe patient handling emergency preparedness Hospital Nursing and Ancillary Leadership. Manage relationships and processes that support hospital for hiring performance management coaching mentoring training with competency of staff to ensure services are professional accurate and timely. Monitor department stats and match staffing to meet the demand with fiscal responsibility. The supervisor will foster a culture of inclusion build a workforce with equitable access to career opportunities.
FTE 1.0 40 hrs weekly evening/day shift every other weekend.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Previous customer service experience
- Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
- None
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Laptops printers electronic health records system environment of care regulatory compliance software asset management software and system(s) internal or online department quality control software. Competent in Microsoft applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Previous lead/supervisor experience
- Associate or bachelors degree in related field
- Previous healthcare experience
- Previous experience leading in a union environment

- Experience and / or other areas of leadership including negotiations facilitation problem solving knowledge of supply chain expense management to budget written & verbal skills analytical tactics interpersonal skills waste compliance infection prevention disinfection capital asset management patient or customer experience regulatory compliance employee engagement with the ability to lead in diversity equity and inclusion union environment and effectively utilize quality improvement tools.
