Job Overview
Join Podar Education Network as a Clinical Psychologist at PIS Samastipur. This fulltime role is based in Samastipur part of our expansive educational network. Qualifications and Skills
- A masters degree in psychology or a related field such as an MA Psychology or MSc Psychology is required for this role.
- Deep understanding of clinical psychology principles to effectively support student mental health and wellbeing.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and diagnose mental health conditions and provide appropriate interventions.
- Proficient in counseling therapy techniques to address a wide variety of cognitive emotional and social challenges.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students parents and educational staff.
- Experience in developing personalized treatment plans based on individual assessments and student needs.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with emotional and behavioral issues to foster a supportive environment.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and administrators to create holistic educational strategies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychological services including assessment counseling and therapy to students.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students dealing with mental health or emotional concerns.
- Work collaboratively with teachers parents and administrators to support student educational and personal goals.
- Conduct workshops and educational sessions to promote mental health awareness within the school community.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of student interactions and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions for the holistic development of students.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in psychology research and practices to integrate into the schools approach.
- Advise school leadership on policies and programs to address student mental health and wellness effectively.
