Job Description Summary:
Billing and Collections Analyst 1 supports Drapers billing functions invoicing collections and maintaining accurate Billing and Collections Analyst I should have adequate attention to detail and strive to meet tight deadlines. Provide value added service to our internal/external partners.Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with team members to support Government and Commercial Customer Bills (Cost Types Time and Material Firm Fixed Price and Performance Based Payments)
Timely produce and deliver customer billings for assigned contracts
Performs collection of receivables
Continually monitor and update customer interaction documentation in support of collections
Investigate and resolve any reconciliation issues
Develop a collaborative working relationship with other departments (Contracts Business Analysts General Ledger Program Finance Programs Accounts Payable etc.)
Work under tight time constraints due to departmental and contractual deadlines
Collaboratively work in a team oriented environment
Communicate to Manager on issues and provides updates
Timely and accurately set up billing plans
Other duties and projects as assigned
Skills/Abilities
Detail oriented
Ability to adapt to changes in workflow
Proficient Microsoft Suite skills (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions
Thrive in resultsdriven team culture
Knowledge of electronic billing procedures
Familiarity with Government regulations.
Education:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Experience:
35 years of Government billing experience ERP experience preferred ( PeopleSoft Oracle IPP WAWF Data Warehouse)
