Job Description

Stocks and retrieves merchandise stored on various levels using high lift materials handling equipment to lift carry move and position palletized merchandise. Responsible for safe operation of equipment to ensure no damage to merchandise equipment or facilities. Typically has 02 years of experience and works under close supervision.- Forklift driving (gas & standup) Certification
- Knowledge of SAGE MAS500
- Stock receipt transaction
- Stocktostock transfer transaction
- Miscellaneous issue transaction
- Returntostock transaction
- Allocation transaction procedure
- Error correction transaction
- Location transaction
- Lifting procedures
- ISO 9000 procedures
- Total productive maintenance
- Job duties are not limited to those stated above and may be changed as required by the company
- Able to work hours over and above regularly scheduled hours whenever necessary.
- Physically able to bend squat lift grasp and display other physical capabilities necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
- Able to accept and respond willingly to the demands of a changing and fast moving continuous improvement work environment.
- Able to work in a warm environment typically including exposure to noise sawdust glue paint laminate and cleaning solutions.
- Able to lift safely and move material up to 50 pounds in weight.
- Able to read measurements accurately.
- Able to accurately calculate basic arithmetic problems.
- Attentive to detail and accurate.
- Well organized.
- Able to pick from top levels of warehouse on an order picker.
- Cooperative and willing to assist others.
- Number/Word discrimination
- Must be able to lift (up to 50 lbs.) bend stoop climb and reach.
- Must pass lift drivers test.
