Job Summary As the Residential Services Director in a healingcentered environment you will oversee operations programming and services designed to provide survivors with safety stability and holistic healing. This role also integrates Hope Advocacy (Case Management) Services ensuring that survivors receive comprehensive support tailored to their unique journeys. Additionally you will lead the development and execution of strategic planning setting objectives and tactics to strengthen the shelters impact and longterm sustainability. Your leadership will foster a traumainformed clientcentered approach emphasizing empowerment emotional wellbeing and longterm success. Primary Responsibilities Shelter Management & Healing Environment: - Oversee daytoday shelter operations ensuring a calm healing atmosphere that promotes relaxation restoration and dignity.
- Maintain a clean safe and traumasensitive space with wellnessfocused staff
- Implement policies that uphold survivorcentered principles confidentiality and empowerment.
2. Strategic Planning & Implementation: - Develop and oversee the shelters strategic plan aligning short and longterm goals with the organizations mission and vision.
- Establish clear objectives measurable outcomes and specific tactics to enhance survivor services advocacy efforts and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the CSuite and leadership team to assess progress refine strategies and respond to emerging needs.
- Ensure the integration of Hope Advocacy Case Management Services within the broader strategic framework to optimize survivor outcomes.
3. Hope Advocacy Case Management Services: - Develop and implement comprehensive case management services that support survivors in goal setting healing and selfsufficiency.
- Ensure each resident is paired with a Hope Advocate to receive tailored support in areas such as safety planning housing stability employment education financial independence and emotional recovery.
- Foster a collaborative approach between case managers therapists and community partners to provide wraparound services.
- Utilize traumainformed strengthbased practices to meet survivors where they are in their journey.
4. Community Collaboration & Advocacy: - Build partnerships with domestic violence coalitions law enforcement healthcare providers and housing agencies to expand resources for survivors.
- Advocate for policy changes and funding to support survivors longterm success and wellbeing.
- Develop community outreach programs to educate the public about domestic violence healingcentered support and prevention strategies.
5. Financial & Resource Development: - Manage the shelters budget funding and financial sustainability.
- Engage with marketing for donors sponsors and community organizations to ensure survivors have access to safe housing employment assistance and selfsufficiency resources.
6. Data Collection & Program Evaluation: - Monitor survivor progress and track key outcome metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Utilize data to improve case management strategies healing programs and advocacy efforts.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements accreditation standards and ethical best practices.
Skills and Qualifications - Masters degree preferred in Social Work Counseling Psychology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in domestic violence services traumainformed care or nonprofit leadership.
- Strong background in case management advocacy strategic planning and survivorcentered programming.
- Leadership experience in staff supervision program development and budget management.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and crisis intervention skills.
- Commitment to diversity equity and inclusion with experience serving multicultural and marginalized populations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans aligning objectives with organizational growth and survivor impact.
