Job Description
POSITION: Theater Manager
CLASSIFICATION: NonExempt Salary Range ($25 $25/hour)
REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal/Career Technical Education Director
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A PartTime Theatre Manager oversees the operations and management of a theatre focusing on specific aspects like sound & lighting customer service or event coordination.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to interact with and assist patrons in a friendly and professional manner.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to supervise and motivate frontofhouse staff.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using relevant software for ticket sales reporting and other tasks.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer service event management or theatre operations is beneficial.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years in general office work experience (Highly Preferred)
- Demonstrates knowledge of correct English grammar and usage
- Ability to speak effectively before people
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written oral and diagram form.
