Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist our PRN Pharmacy Technician procures prepares packages and distributes prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies.
PRN Evening SHIFT: This role works as needed on evening shift 3p11:30p
- Maintains IV records and patient profiles and manufactures and prepares sterile products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Individuals with experience and not certified may be hired contingent on achieving certification within one year of employment.
- Certification must be maintained through continuing education requirements for continued employment.
- Certification as a pharmacy technician by completion of an accredited technician training program by national exam or current enrollment in an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Demonstrates mathematical skills required to calculate and prepare dilutions reconstitutions and compounded products.
