The Senior Open Source (OS) Biologist will provide technical support to collection and exploitation efforts and chemical and biological weapons analytic efforts which includes identifying publicly available research journals and core and enduring academic and open sources collection conducting shortterm assessments and responding to ad hoc taskings such as briefing working groups or participation in the sharing of technical data with foreign nationals at meetings and conferences if required and with customer approval.
Specifically the Senior OS Biologist shall focus fulltime on expanding Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) collection and reporting
The Senior OS Biologist shall utilize expertise in the field of biological sciences to expand the OS collection of publicly available and commercially available information on biotechnology and biosecurity developments.
The Senior OS Biologist shall identify new openly available sources and establish dedicated collection and reporting streams on countries regions technologies and biological agents of interest.
This project addresses these requirements by initiating expanding curating and reporting OSINT to fill the identified collection gaps.
The Senior OS Biologist will utilize the full range of OS Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) toolsets and broad collection capabilities to expand OSINT collection on biotechnology and biosecurity developments at a rapid pace and will work closely with data scientists and systems engineers to use AI/LLMs to curate structure and produce reporting packaged to meet ODNI and IC requirements.
Required Skills:
Education: Ph.D in Biology
Experience 10 to 15 years experience
Clearance TS/SCI wPoly
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of Generative AI Tools
Working knowledge of various OSINT Tools and collection
