About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 14 two middle schools for grades 58 and one high school for grades 912.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Strengthen and encourage meaningfully interactions in childrens development through education and counseling; problem solve social and emotional issues and provide support and assistance to students parents and staff to enable children to reach their full educational potential. Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in social work and hold a current social work license with the Minnesota Board of Social Work; required tohold a Tier 3 or 4 School Social Worker license with Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board. Assignments
Social Workers workby district assignment and may be moved between buildings and/or programs based on student needs location of certain programs student count(s) and applicable licensure. This position is scheduled to work at Big Woods Elementary School for the coming school year.
Start date: August 25 2025
FTE: 1.0
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for newtodistrict teachers August 19 and 20 2025)
Salary Range:$46417$ more information please see theCertified Master Contract. Salary range listed ($46417$98146) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for the current school year and may increase with the negotiation of thecollective bargaining agreement.
