Autism Practitioners (Support Workers)

Full Time and Part Time positions available

Pay Scale:
Starting at 12.60 per hour rising to 12.82 after probation. Opportunity to progress to 13.30 at your own pace.

100.08 per sleepover

About us:

At Scottish Autism we acknowledge the specialist support our staff provide toautisticpeople thereforethose carrying out supportwork are known as Autism Practitioners. We are committed to supporting over 60 autistic adults across Fife providing personalised care across a variety of settings. Our services range in their level of complexity and have varying staffing ratios including 1:1 and 2:1 support.

Were looking for dedicated and confident professionals with experience in support roles. We are seeking passionate experienced and enthusiastic practitioners to make a positive impact on the lives of the people we support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continuously develop personalised support plans with the supported people their support network and other stakeholders to ensure their life goals and aspirations are the main focus
  • Build positive relationships with the supported people
  • To support people to take part in their chosen activities
  • Be an active part of their local community and live as independently as possible
  • Complete all tasks necessary to maintain their home and may be required to support with personal care.

As part of your role you will be required to undertake shift work including weekends and evenings so flexibility towards working hours is key. There are physical elements to this role.
