About the Role
Service Stream is seeking a Field Manager to support the VIC Network Maintenance Field workforce across various work types and clients.
Your primary responsibilities will include planning executing and overseeing activities necessary to successfully build maintain and decommission the Optus Network Uecomm Networks and Power Utility all while ensuring the highest standards of safety.
The ideal candidate will be available for a rostered oncall schedule including regular work outside of standard business hours.
Nature of Position: Permanent full time

Reporting Line: Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Lead coach and mentor employees to deliver in accordance with the Optus Power Utility and other client project plans while ensuring the highest standard of safety.
Act as the primary point of contact between the workforce and the Project Manager to minimise disruptions to both operations and construction activities.
Identify formulate and control the project cost budget ensuring appropriate funding and completion within the approved budget.
Determine and implement quality requirements and improvement initiatives in accordance with the Project Plan.
Assess resource needs for project tasks including selecting and appointing personnel and developing cohesive project teams.
Identify analyse and mitigate potential risk events including establishing a risk register and initiating corrective actions when required.
Manage the procurement process for projects ensuring the effective acquisition of goods and services.
Ensure that all personnel undertaking work for the project have the appropriate training and valid licenses.
About You:
Hold a current drivers license
Extensive experience in an Infrastructure Services environment
Demonstrated experience in civil telecommunications and hands on problem solving
Sound knowledge in contract administration
Strong leadership skills
Excellent time management planning and organising skills
