What is the role
Staff Accountant role providing financial analytical and technical support to the North America Financial controller. This person will be a key contributor to the implementation of the inhouse order to cash process and will manage and maintain the program post implementation. This person will be responsible for partnering with Business Leaders on their financial planning and analysis of revenue margin and operating expenses. The person will also be responsible for the accounting activities of Aerogen in Canada and supporting the Canadian commercial team in making informed business decisions. Supporting the business through its current expansion plans in NA through technical and financial operational support. Payroll and Commission reporting maintaining insurance requirements and where necessary any other adhoc project when needed.
What are the key responsibilities
Proactive NA Finance Business partner to several functional and departmental Leaders.
Support the NA Financial Controller on modelling for strategic company critical projects plus the annual budgeting process.
Assist with the execution of financial operations.
Support the Finance function with the implementation of the Order to Cash process and responsibility for ongoing control and maintenance.
Management accounts and control responsibilities for Aerogen Canada.
Travel & Expenses management with monthly reporting.
Assist in gathering supporting documentation and analysis during audits.
Sales and use tax administration and reporting.
Maintains adequate working relations with external customers and internal sales force to identify prioritize and resolve issues.
Commission and payroll responsibilities where necessary.
Monthly transactional accounting.
Aerogen Go Financial Support
Assist in managing the daytoday Purchase order activities which may include generating POs completeness of documentation and adherence to operating guidelines and policies.
Assist in maintaining and monitoring customer credit limits.
Ensure all incoming payments are received and processed against outstanding accounts receivable.
Ensure process integrity internal controls and compliance.
Effectively and proactively raising issues with their manager as appropriate is necessary.
What education and experience are required
Professionally qualified Accountant
A minimum of 3 year post qualification experience including experience in Multinational and LifeSciences.
