What Youll Be Working On
As a parttime production associate your primary responsibility will be to carton at the end of the coffee production line in a timely clean and efficient manner. You will be reporting to our Head of Strategic Programs and Operations.

This role will be based in the companys warehouse in Belmont CA. Your schedule will be 4 days per week 45 hour shifts per day with occasional oncall responsibilities as communicated by your manager. We anticipate there will be an increase in available working hours after a couple months and also plan to evaluate this person for fulltime conversion at the 6month mark. This is an hourly nonexempt role at $25/hr.

Responsibilities

    • Use computers to read work orders to determine the type of work that needs to be done materials that need to be used and other relevant details
    • Operate and monitor production equipment track inventory and document work progress
    • Operate the production assembly line & machinery in accordance with safety and quality assurance standards
    • Pick and pack sales orders
    • Schedule UPS and Freight (LTL) pick ups
    • Sweep vacuum mop to maintain a safe and clean work environment
    • Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of all production equipment

Desired Qualifications

    • Experience on production lines and able to work quickly and efficiently with hands
    • Comfortable using computers and basic software such as Microsoft Office 360
    • Familiar with general warehousing principles including safety and cleanliness standards
    • Must be detailoriented
    • Ability to access elevated locations (i.e. top storage shelves machine hopper etc.) using ladders
    • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally move and lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
    • Experience with basic machine / production line troubleshootinga plus but not required
