Responsibilities
- Focus on complete endtoend billing for the accounts allocated. Functions include; Charge entry Payment posting Front end Edits Payer Rejects Rejections and Unpaid claims.
- Verification of Insurance for all patients.
- Interpret and process Explanation of Benefits.
- Research and appeal denied claims.
- Resubmit corrected claims.
- Monitor patient Accounts Receivable closely.
- Access carrier websites for claim and eligibility information.
- Work directly with the staff to ensure all patients requests are taken care of in a timely fashion and ensuring day to day operational deadlines are met.
- Bill patients for responsible portions and have the ability to relay information regarding copays deductibles and coinsurance.
- Multitask between different projects throughout the day as per client needs and office requirements.
- Answer patient questions regarding balance due (if needed)
- Interact professionally with medical offices and their staff on behalf of Max Well Therapy LLC providing information about claims processing and payments.
Qualifications
- Preferably 1 2 years of experience with working knowledge of all aspects of the insurance process.
- Familiar with medical billing guidelines and payer requirements.
- Certified Billers preferred.
- Must be friendly and professional with excellent communication skills.
- Be a team player.
- Must have knowledge and experience with Medicare Medicaid Commercial Insurances and HMO.
- Office Setting. Must be able to sit at a desk in front of a computer screen for long periods of time.
Compensation: $13.00 $15.00 per hour
We are multidisciplinary therapy clinic offering Physical Occupational Speech & Massage therapy services to our Genesee County community.
