Fusion HCR is hiring! Remote Contract Data Warehouse Architect for our Federal Government client. This position requires US Citizenship. No third parties accepted.
Were seeking a handson Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions. This role involves defining enterprise data models developing schemas documenting architecture and building tabular models using Microsoft SQL Server and SSAS.

Were seeking a handson Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data warehouse solutions. This role involves defining enterprise data models developing schemas documenting architecture and building tabular models using Microsoft SQL Server and SSAS.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain enterprise data models aligned with business goals.
- Design and implement star/snowflake schemas in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation (diagrams data dictionary design patterns).
- Build SSAS Tabular Models for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into data architecture.
- Ensure consistency and integrity across all data layers.
- Lead data modeling metadata and data quality efforts.
- Promote data architecture standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
- 8 years in data warehousing BI architecture or data modeling.
- Proven SQL Server experience with schema and warehouse design.
- Strong SSAS Tabular DAX and MDX skills.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse Snowflake).
- Expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball/Inmon).
- Skilled in SQL tuning documentation and schema design.
- Familiar with ETL tools like SSIS or Azure Data Factory.
- Knowledge of data governance and security.
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools integrated with SSAS.
