Whats the role
Within WIBs Energy industry team we aspire to provide high quality origination and delivery of customer and strategic insights for a diverse group of clients.
Reporting tothe Head of Energyyoull be highly motivated to work on new to bank acquisitions and service an existing complex and dynamic portfolio of customers while also helping the team to achieve yearonyear and return on equity growth.
This role will provide a successful candidate with a great opportunity to work across teams within WIB by embedding yourself in key sales activities and fully understanding and supporting delivery into the endtoend sales process.
What do I need
- An understanding of the Energy Resources & Infrastructure sectors in Australia coupled with an appetite for building knowledge of Sustainability and Climate change related issues impacting the Energy sector.
- Credit and risk management experience for Corporate/WIB customers to support CIB Relationship Managers to strengthen the credit analysis process and determine the suitability of proposals including acceptability of credit risk.
- Portfolio management experiencesupporting research activities to implement the Energy Infrastructure and Resource sector strategieshelping revenue and balance sheet growth and WIBs commitment to high standards in credit assessment and exposure management.
- Proven success of working cross collaboratively within a Corporate banking team environment coordinating with other industry sector coverage teams Analysts Risk key product partners and stakeholders such as Legal together with other banks in a club project or bilateral setting.
- A passion for driving client advocacy and growth in the teams loan book via support for high quality debt product origination and NPS growth.
