PURPOSE: The Customer Support & Services Administrator serves as a technical administrator and coordinator for ES&E personnel and select vendors for customer support maintenance and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter orders through the use of various computer systems.
  • Help resolve commercial and technical issues to maintain customer satisfaction and communicate issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers to ensure they have sufficient knowledge of various products and services and how each can meet their needs.
  • Coordinate service schedules and activities between ESE personnel Rockwell Automation and customers.
  • Quote service products and packages for customers.
  • Coordinate the repair of equipment and/or exchange of parts for customers in the most expeditious and costeffective way in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Provide communication between Rockwell Automation or other select vendors and ES&E.
  • Provide feedback to ES&E and RA regarding technical and commercial information.
  • Maintain current information on companys various software packages concerning activities value added services contacts projects and opportunities.
  • Coordinate various training products and seminars for customers and ES&E personnel. This could include securing a location arranging for meals etc.
  • Comply with all Company policies and safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by company personnel.


Requirements
  • Possess expertise of various products offered by ES&Es service group.
  • Must have good organization skills and have the ability to work on multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Must be able to effectively listen communicate.
  • Must be able to identify the customers needs so that the proper information and solutions are given to each customer.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products including but not limited to Word Outlook Power Point and Excel.
  • Education: Minimum level: Fouryear business or applicable degree or applicable experience.
  • Experience: Two to three years in sales support within the industry or a similar industry.
  • Must have strong computer skills and have the manual dexterity to perform data entry accurately.
  • Must be willing to travel on occasion to assist with training events.
