Job Description
The JobSquad Solutions is seeking a motivated individual who can manage a team whos a selfstarter and has experience in a manufacturing team lead position. This person will be reporting to the Fiber Line Supervisor for an acousticlining manufacturer in Battle Creek MI.
Shift and Pay Details:
- 1st Shift 7am7pm
- Alternating 12s Great for homelife balance!
- $2023/hr Based on experience
To qualify you must:
- Have prior experience in a manufacturing setting
- Be able to perform work responsibilities safely and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Ability to obtain forklift license and complete Confined Space Training and LOTO Training
- Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Setting up/operating various machines such as: Blend line DOA air lay oven slitting machines picker cutting machine roll winder sizing/spray system powder coater and all opening equipment on the line
- Filling out production and downtime reports as well as manning reports HBH boards and guiding the proper procedures for 1hour PM (preventive maintenance) of the line.
- Having a good grasp of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and the Lock Out Tag Out procedure and making sure its followed.
- Checking the production schedule ensuring proper staffing and confirming the correct fiber blend setup. Also reviewing all Quality Performance Reports (QPRs).
- Meeting with previous shift leaders to address any equipment or raw material issues.
- Assisting the supervisor in preparing equipment for operation and ensuring it runs at the right settings.
- Assigning tasks to line operators to maximize productivity and meet production standards.
- Managing changeovers efficiently and ensuring theyre completed within the required time and in the correct sequence.
- Reporting any quality issues from the previous shift producing products to required specifications verifying proper fiber blend setup and reviewing all QPRs.
