Are you interested in contributing to the building the Kingdom and making a positive impact Are you passionate about helping others understand and access the benefits available to them We are looking for an experienced benefits professional to take responsibility for US benefits at the Church including employee education outreach and benefits compliance efforts. As part of our team youll play a crucial role in ensuring our benefit offerings align with our values and help our employees thrive.
Accountable to deliver the following essential activities to several departments and/or areas:
Act as point of contact and steward of:
o InfoGuide
o Benefits Inventory Maintenance/Updates
o Benefits survey participation
Assist with business requirements/technology rollouts Total Rewards
Provide input into organization wide benefit executive presentations through researching and evaluating proposal options under the direction of the Benefits Manager
Complete Benefits spot surveys and respond to HR Services queries as they complete global benefits surveys
Ensure global benefit offerings align with market and Church philosophy
Benefits coordination and process governance (headquarters and legal compliance)
Manages benefits salary survey requests analysis & contract/vendor relationship management
Assists with leave governance and escalated appeals
Administers tuition reimbursement policy and principles
Conducts regular audit of benefits approvals
Benefits Philosophy: Outreach and Training
o Manage and direct benefits education and compliance training efforts
Proactively conduct benefits analysis
Participate in peer review presentations for executive councils
Administers the Employee Discounts Guidelines/Criteria (Global)
o Participates in the Employee Discount Committee
Administers the Employee Discounts Guidelines/Criteria (Global)
Evaluates retirement plan hardship allowances and makes recommendations
Partner with thirdparty administrator DMBA when evaluating medical plans and provide feedback on customer service
Reconciliation and audit of internal and thirdparty benefit technology resources
Special employee cases with DMBA (second tier)
Management of open enrollment campaign (US)
Lead benefits compliance efforts (1095/1094 ACA open enrollment Hawaii annual/monthly compliance)
Oversee and coordinate yearly updates needed for respective benefit education materials
Insurance premium submission
Support the management of vendor relationships and contracts
Required:
Bachelors degree in a related field
6 years industryrelated experience
Basic benefits or healthcare plan experience
Expert HR operational knowledge
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 programs (Excel PowerPoint SharePoint)
Familiarity with best practices of HR functions
Key skills and core competencies include the ability to:

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.
Preferred:
Masters degree in a related field
