Title: Manufacturing Engineer
Position Type: FullTime/Exempt
Pay Range: $110000$130000 (Salary to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data)
Location: Louisville CO
About this role: The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for the building testing and delivery of antennas.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer that will support the following programs:
What youll do:
Support production and ontime delivery of antenna product lines.
Provide handson support formanufacturing & test technicians.
Serve as point of contact for nonconforming product. Troubleshoot and investigate failures todetermineroot cause and corrective actions.
Createmechanical and electrical assembly instructions focusing on standardizing across projects and products while streamlining workflow of hardware through needed work centers.
Develop and/or improve manufacturing process specifications to standardize processes that are shared among company projects.
Design fixturing and tooling to aide manufacturing.
Understand inhouse business systems including Configuration Data Management tools Manufacturing Execution System MRP PLM manufacturing shop floor control and internal status reporting.
Help translate design requirements into manufacturing inputs.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Key Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications:
BS or in an Engineering field or equivalent discipline.
4 years of experiencein at least one core product area: Electrical Mechanical Manufacturing
Proficiencywith interpreting technical engineering drawings bills of material and technical documents including test and integration procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills strong written communication skills oral presentation skills and an ability to lead group discussions with both internal and external customers.
Must be proficient in Microsoft products (Excel Word Powerpoint Visio)
Related technical experience will be considered in lieu of education.
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 and its impact on manufacturing and inspection.
Experience with CAD systems (Solidworks preferred) and can design tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) to aid in manufacturing.
Experience with PLC automation and robotics
Hands on experience with assembly of electromechanical assemblies and/or manufacturing of precision parts (machining additive manufacturingetc).
Experience creating and improving assembly instructions and/or manufacturing process specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5 and its impact on manufacturing and inspection.
Experience with CAD systems (Solidworks preferred) and can design tooling and ground support equipment (GSE) to aid in manufacturing.
Experience with PLC automation and robotics
Hands on experience with assembly of electromechanical assemblies and/or manufacturing of precision parts (machining additive manufacturingetc).
