Description

Alutiiq Solutions LLC is excited to offer an opportunity for a Radome and Maintenance team member to join us and support the groundbreaking mission of the Space Force. The Radome and Maintenance team member is responsible for ensuring the effective maintenance and operation of radomes and facility systems and missionspecific equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to managing preventive maintenance inspections coordinating repair activities and actual repair and installation to maintain optimal functionality and compliance with Air Force standards.

This role is located at Buckley Space Force Base (BSFB)

The Radome and Maintenance Coordinator will:

  1. Preventive Maintenance Inspections (PMI):
    • Conduct facility and Radome PMIs twice weekly including daily checks to identify items requiring repair
    • Develop and manage a comprehensive PMI schedule for all facility equipment submitting it annually for government review.
  2. Coordination and Scheduling:
    • Schedule and coordinate outside contractors for PMIs and repairs related to missionspecific equipment including PDUs radome generators blowers and UPS systems approximately annually
    • Collaborate with the Facility Manager to integrate PMIs into the Facility Integration Schedule occurring approximately twice a week.
    • Follow Del 4 guidance for coordinating and scheduling outside contractors for base access.
  3. Compliance Research and Reporting:
    • Ensure monthly facility and radome generator runs in accordance with Air Force Instruction (AFI) 321062 section 7
    • Installs and repair electrical devices such as tap boxes receptacles circuit breakers wiring etc. to power communication racks and other devices.



Requirements

Requirements:

  • Education: Statelicensed electrician
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently a highly motivated selfstarter
  • Experience in facility maintenance and coordination of preventive maintenance schedules
  • Familiarity with Air Force Instructions and ability to adhere to compliance standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage schedules and coordinate with various stakeholders
  • Clearance: Able to qualify for and maintain a Top Secret / SCI security clearance

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the operational readiness and safety of missionspecific equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and schedules efficiently.
