Job Description

Fohntech Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Engineer to join their team in sligo.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all piping installations meet quality standards specifications and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct line walks and inspections of installed pipework
  • Verify materials welds and supports against P&IDs and isometric drawings
  • Identify and document any deviations or defects
  • Liaise with construction teams to ensure corrective actions are implemented
  • Complete punch lists and prepare reports for quality assurance records
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications

Requirements:

  • Experience in QA/QC linewalking within mechanical or piping projects
  • Strong knowledge of P&IDs isometric drawings and welding specifications
  • Familiarity with industry standards (ASME API ISO etc.)
