Job Description
- Discover and document customercentric requirements user stories and acceptance criteria with a focus on improving business and technical processes.
- Act as the voice of the customer working with IT project team members and business stakeholders to understand business processes fully pain points and customer needs.
- Develop expertise in customers business applications and organizational data management concepts advocating for the customer throughout the SDLC.
- Diagram current processes and propose modifications using process flows (BPMN 2.0) context diagrams and data flow diagrams to ensure clarity for both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Decompose traditional requirements into Agile Epics and Features create clear and concise user stories that are aligned with customer goals and are easy to implement by technical teams.
- Execute advanced SQL queries to support data mapping profiling and analysis.
- Perform comprehensive testing to ensure functionality data integrity and customer satisfaction including:
- Functional Testing: Validate that the integrated systems meet specified requirements.
- Data Validation Testing: Ensure accuracy completeness and consistency of transferred data.
- Regression Testing: Verify new integrations do not disrupt existing functionalities.
- EndtoEnd Testing: Test entire workflows across integrated systems for seamless operation.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Collaborate with stakeholders to validate business needs.
- Use tools like Azure DevOps and Jira to manage work items and ensure alignment with customer goals.
- 10 years of business analysis experience with a focus on data management and QA testing.
- Advanced SQL expertise for complex queries database profiling and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in QA tools Microsoft Office reporting systems and SDLC tools like Azure DevOps and Jira.
- Experience with reporting systems operational data stores data warehouses data lakes and data marts.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to advocate for customers while working with a diverse set of peers and verbal presentation skills to senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) PMIPBA or PMIACP.
10+ years of business analysis experience with a focus on data management and QA testing. Advanced SQL expertise for complex queries, database profiling, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in QA tools, Microsoft Office, reporting systems, and SDLC tools like Azure DevOps and Jira. Experience with reporting systems, operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts. Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a proven ability to advocate for customers while working with a diverse set of peers and verbal presentation skills to senior leaders in a matrixed organization.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI-PBA, or PMI-ACP.
