Make a meaningful impact every day by supporting students with special needs in a collaborative missiondriven school environment. This is a consistent onsite role at an elementary school in San Mateo County working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM (30 hours per week).
What You’ll Do
Provide direct classroom and behavioral support to students with special needs
Collect and report on student data as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Teacher
Assist students with preacademic readiness social skills and classroom transitions
Help facilitate safe inclusive interactions during recess and group activities
Maintain calmness professionalism and flexibility in a dynamic school setting
Work as part of a committed team of educators and specialists focused on student growth
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of an associate degree
Valid driver’s license and personal transportation
Must reside in San Mateo or San Francisco County areas (not open to East Bay or South Bay residents)
2 years of schoolbased experience preferred
Familiarity with behavioral supports and accurate data collection strongly preferred
Safety Care training a plus
Strong attendance professionalism and collaboration skills required
