Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Provide direct classroom and behavioral support to students with special needs
- Collect and report on student data as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education Teacher
- Assist students with preacademic readiness social skills and classroom transitions
- Help facilitate safe inclusive interactions during recess and group activities
- Maintain calmness professionalism and flexibility in a dynamic school setting
- Work as part of a committed team of educators and specialists focused on student growth
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of an associate degree
- Valid driver’s license and personal transportation
- Must reside in San Mateo or San Francisco County areas (not open to East Bay or South Bay residents)
- 2 years of schoolbased experience preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral supports and accurate data collection strongly preferred
- Safety Care training a plus
- Strong attendance professionalism and collaboration skills required
