Job Description

One of our clients is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst 4 (BSA4) to support the implementation of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) solution. This position involves close collaboration with clinical and IT teams to align system functionality with clinical needs and clients Health IT strategy. The role encompasses requirements gathering system design testing deployment and support.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid: 4 days onsite at Richmond VA office; 1 day remote (choose Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday)

  • Travel: Some day or overnight travel to client facilities required for training meetings and onsite support


Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather document and track requirements related to EHR implementation.

  • Analyze and document clinical workflows using tools such as Visio and standard use case formats.

  • Support UAT integration testing and production validation activities.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and IT teams to define Health IT goals.

  • Create project documentation schedules and compliance reports aligned with VITA standards.

  • Monitor system performance connectivity and service levels.

  • Implement and support downtime readiness and recovery procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and health data exchange standards (HL7 FHIR CDA).



Requirements

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 4 years Requirements Elicitation Documentation Analysis and Tracking

  • 4 years Systems/Integration/UAT Testing

  • 4 years Process/Workflow Engineering and Documentation (Visio Use Cases)

  • 3 years Large System Implementation with complex integrations

  • 4 years Microsoft Office/365 tools

  • 4 years Agile and Waterfall Methodologies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience:

  • 3 years Leading Workgroups

  • 3 years Experience in Health Systems or Clinical Settings; HIPAA familiarity

  • 2 years Experience with VITA Project Standards

  • 3 years Experience with Schedule Milestone and Metric Definitions

  • Experience with HL7 V2 CDA and FHIR standards
