Job Description

Adelphi is seeking Neurologists to provide consultative and diagnostic evaluation services to students within Monmouth County New Jersey. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with school personnel and Child Study Teams to assess neurological conditions that may impact educational performance.

Valid NJ license
Experience with pediatric or schoolaged populations preferred

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations for referred students.
Provide written reports detailing findings and educational implications.
Collaborate with Child Study Teams and attend eligibility or IEP meetings as needed.
Offer expert consultation on neurological diagnoses that may influence academic performance or behavior.
Recommend further testing treatment or school accommodations where applicable.
Respond to inquiries from school staff and parents in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure evaluations align with federal and state regulations (IDEA NJDOE).
Maintain complete and confidential records in accordance with district policy.
Be available for reevaluations or followup assessments if required.
Any other duties as assigned.
