Job Description

Adelphi is seeking School Social Workers to provide counseling case management and assessment services within Monmouth County New Jersey. The ideal candidates will support students emotional wellbeing and contribute to the Child Study Team (CST) process.

Requirements:

Master s degree in Social Work (MSW).

Active NJ School Social Worker Certification

Experience working in public school settings

Responsibilities:

Deliver individual and group counseling to general and special education students.

Conduct social assessments as part of CST evaluations.

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of socialemotional goals.

Provide crisis intervention and referrals to community mental health services.

Collaborate with families teachers and CST members to support student needs.

Maintain documentation and progress notes in accordance with district protocols.

Assist in the development of Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Plans.

Coordinate services with outside agencies and resources.

Provide parent support and training as appropriate.

Any other duties as assigned.
