We are looking for a smart proactive and detailoriented Facility Management Intern to support the daytoday operations of our facility. This role is ideal for NYSC members seeking a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) or graduates who have just completed NYSC and are eager to gain handson experience in facility management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations and upkeep of the facility.
- Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests and repairs.
- Monitor the condition of office equipments and infrastructure.
- Liaise with vendors service providers and technicians as needed.
- Maintain records of maintenance schedules reports and inventory.
- Ensure that safety cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld.
- Support logistics for internal meetings workspace setups and office supplies.
- Report any facility issues promptly to the Facility Manager or Admin Lead.
- Assist with general administrative duties and support the operations team.
Requirements
- Current NYSC corps member seeking PPA or recently completed NYSC.
- Smart proactive and willing to learn.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Previous experience in facility management real estate or customer success is a plus.
- Comfortable using basic computer tools (e.g. MS Word Excel).
