Job Description
Join Our Team as a Raw Materials & Gas Testing Lab Technician!
Are you someone who loves handson work learning new things and being part of a supportive team Were looking for a curious detailoriented individual to join our qualitydriven lab. In this role youll help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes by performing a mix of sampling testing and inspection tasks in both cleanroom and lab environments.

What Youll Do:
- Sample and test compressed gas systems and gas tankers
- Work in a cleanroom to dispense raw materials and inspect containers
- Handle label and safely dispose of lab samples
- Calibrate (or verify calibration of) lab instruments before use
- Record test results accurately and flag any issues you notice
- Keep lab supplies organized and help with general housekeeping
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with internal teams
- Participate in training and stay up to date on safety and compliance guidelines
- Follow all industry regulations and internal procedures
- Get crosstrained on additional lab tests like pH Conductivity Nitrate ID TOC and Appearance
This position is an indoor labbased position working in biopharmaceutical manufacturing cleanrooms and lab spaces. Position requires significant time spent in ISO 8 cleanrooms with the following restrictions:
- No cosmetic products or applications (such as makeup false lashes spray tans tinted moisturizer etc) are permitted and must be removed before entry
- Nails must be kept short trimmed and unadorned (no nail polish rhinestones etc)
- No jewelry may be worn (exceptions are medical alertrelated and one smooth ring band that can be easily covered by a glove)
- Hair must be able to be neatly tied back and contained in a hairnet and all facial hair must be neatly trimmed and able to be secured in a beard cover.
Qualifications :
What Youll Need to Bring:
- A bachelors degree in chemistry or a related science field or handson experience thats directly related
- Authorization to work in the U.S. longterm without the need for sponsorship

- Enjoy learning new techniques and juggling different tasks throughout the day
- Are organized detailoriented and confident following instructions and keeping clear records
- Communicate clearly both in writing and in conversation
- Dont mind being on your feet for much of the shift and enjoy staying active
- Know your way around a computer and can keep digital info neat and organized
- Value transparency teamwork and a supportive work culture
- Have experience in a GMP biopharma or similar regulated lab environment (a plus!)
- Have used LIMS or other lab data systems before (also a bonus!)

Additional Details:
The work schedule will be Monday through Friday 7 am3:30 pm with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer New York are encouraged to apply.
