Under the direction of the Business Development Manager this role blends digital marketing strategy with productfocused storytelling to generate demand increase product visibility and support our ArchitecturalSales team. Youll take ownership of digital campaigns content strategy product messaging and customer engagement across platforms
Essential Duties are those that are critical integral necessary crucial primary and/or fundamental. These essential functions are the basic job duties that an employee must be able to perform.
Digital Marketing:
- Develop and manage integrated digital campaigns across web email social media and paid media channels.
- Optimize company website for SEO UX and conversion performance; manage updates for new product launches and case studies.
- Lead content strategy and creation including product videos blogs landing pages and email campaigns that speak to architects and specifiers.
- Track KPIs and campaign metrics to continuously improve engagement lead quality and ROI.
Product Marketing:
- Craft compelling product messaging positioning and value propositions for each target audience (architects designers contractors).
- Develop product collateral: brochures spec sheets presentations digital assets and AIA/CES content. Additionally handle processing AIA accreditations and corresponding certificates.
- Collaborate with product development and sales teams to strengthen gotomarket strategies and new product introductions.
- Coordinate digital product launches ensuring messaging consistency across all channels.
- Conduct competitive analysis and customer research to inform marketing direction and differentiation
- Participate and plan for industry events and tradeshows.
- Support lead generation and followup actions needed
- Assist business development and sales team with marketing related administrative initiatives
- May include future business development into Chicago based Architectural firms
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Communications Architecture Industrial Design or related field.
- 35 years of experience in B2B digital and/or product marketing ideally within the AEC (Architecture Engineering Construction) or building materials space.
- Proficient with marketing tech tools: Google Analytics HubSpot or similar CRM/automation platforms WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong copywriting and visual communication skills with a designforward mindset.
- Knowledge of the architectural design process product specifications and sustainability standards (LEED WELL etc.) is a plus.
- Selfmotivated organized and comfortable managing multiple projects with minimal supervision.
