Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety excellent people skills and the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. As a Bus Driver you will be responsible for transporting passengers to their destinations in a timely and safe manner. You will need to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bus. This position is for transporting athletes to away games. You will always have an additional STA employee/Coach on the bus with you. You will need to manage your time effectively to make sure that you follow the schedule and make adjustments as necessary to accommodate traffic or other delays. This position requires a valid commercial drivers license (CDL) with a passenger endorsement a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check. Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred but not required. We would like to add that our buses have air Transport passengers safely to their destinations. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the bus. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team. Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bus. Handle emergencies and assist if needed. Enforce rules and regulations on the bus. Adjust routes as necessary to accommodate traffic or delays. Ensure a safe and orderly environment on the bus. Perform routine checks of safety equipment. Follow company policies and procedures.
