Responsibilities:
- Provide actionable insights to senior leadership by analyzing key metrics identifying and monitoring trends and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with accounting business development legal and operations teams to translate data insights into actionable events and ensure cohesive execution across channels
- Build maintain and optimize dashboards and reports to track KPIs providing actionable insights for crossfunctional and leadership teams
- Manage data pipelines and collaborate with product and data engineering teams to ensure accurate data collection cleaning and integration across platforms
- Mentor and manage a team of data analysts fostering a culture of curiosity innovation and continuous improvement
- Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets develop deepdive analysis to generate insights
- Drive efforts in forecasting support based on business trends historical data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support longterm strategic planning efforts across various channels
- Identify and drive opportunities for automation and streamline planning processes & workflows where possible
- Document standard procedures ensuring clarity and consistency
Qualifications :
- BS or above degrees in a quantitative field Computer Science Operational Research Statistics Economics or related fields
- 7 years of relevant industry or relevant academic experience in Data Science / Analytics working with data; 2 years experience in managing a team
- Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Expertise in developing metrics performance measurement data modeling and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work with peers in engineering and product management across teams to set technical and data management direction
- Team player who understands the collaborative nature of this work with the ability to influence at Csuite level in a crossfunctional environment
- Experience in applied statistics and statistical modeling in at least one statistical software package (eg. R Python)
- Proficiency in SQL and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)

The Team: Only) Pursuant to applicable law SquareTrade estimates the possible base compensation for this role if hired in California to be within the following range: $160K$190K
