Security Guard II
Must meet the requirements of Chapter 493 Florida Statutes and have a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
Security:
Daily Security Operations: Actively participate in the daily implementation of physical security measures ensuring adherence to museum standards while demonstrating professionalism and exceptional customer service.
Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents involving injuries to visitors or staff as well as any loss or damage to artwork or museum property.
Patrolling Duties: Monitor assigned areas to detect and prevent vandalism mechanical issues fire hazards and theft.
Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations including disasters or security breaches in accordance with established protocols.
Systems:
Assist in planning monitoring and controlling electronic security systems to ensure optimal performance and coverage.
Maintain accurate records including visitor logs property passes and volunteer checkins.
Conduct inspections of incoming and outgoing packages and monitor building access to maintain a secure environment.
