Position Summary
The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for accurately tracking and controlling inventory throughout each stage of the production process. This role utilizes a handheld scanner and ERP system (NetSuite) to record transactions print and apply labels ensuring smooth inventory flow without direct participation in the assembly line. Familiarity with the entire production process is essential to support the team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Create review issue complete and close production work orders.
Manage production logs and batch sheets ensuring alignment between physical documentation and ERP entries.
Ensure accurate coding and lot dating for all products.
Verify bill of materials and manage product locks.
Print and apply labels for inprocess and finished goods.
Perform realtime cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Record weights and quantities of finished products.
Monitor and update open work orders to maintain accurate inventory data.
Coordinate with the supply chain for raw material receipts.
Accurately account for and manage defective or damaged inventory.
Generate intercompany transfer records for raw materials and finished goods.
Follow standard operating procedures and suggest process improvements.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory purchasing or ERP systems (NetSuite SAP etc.).
At least 1 year of experience in a production or warehouse setting; food production preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Highly organized detailoriented and capable of multitasking.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Selfmotivated with effective problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint).
Ability to meet deadlines while remaining flexible for special projects.
Strong analytical skills and a teamoriented mindset.
Food Safety & Quality Requirements
Comply with handwashing sanitization cleanliness grooming and dress standards.
Adhere to SQF FSMA GMPs HACCP and company food/worker safety protocols.

Work Environment
Plantbased work with frequent standing walking climbing kneeling and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Exposure to moderatetoloud noise strong odors and fluctuating temperatures.
Travel
Primarily based at the Muenster facility with potential travel to other locations as needed.
Shift: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay: Starting at $20/hour depending on experience
