Position Overview

The Integrated Circuit Assembler is responsible for assembling modifying and testing electronic and mechanical subassemblies with precision and adherence to strict quality standards. If you have experience in microelectronics assembly strong attention to detail and the ability to work with small components under a microscope.


US PERSON REQUIREMENT

Due to US Export control laws must be a US Citizen Permanent Resident or have protected status

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical subassemblies including modules circuit boards panels and cables
  • Work from diagrams schematics and process sheets to complete layouts and assemblies using hand and power tools
  • Conduct continuity checks and quality inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Disassemble modify rework and reassemble experimental or prototype assemblies as needed
  • Utilize test equipment to verify functionality and troubleshoot issues
  • Maintain detailed records of procedural steps and test results to support engineering development
  • Ensure compliance with ESD and FODcontrolled environment standards.
  • Fabricate and modify microintegrated circuit modules and subassemblies
  • Analyze test failure reports and isolate issues for rework and repair
  • Follow procedural specifications and quality requirements for precision assembly
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in electronics or microelectronics assembly
  • Ability to work for extended periods under a microscope using hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers
  • Strong dexterity handeye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and follow detailed process sheets and engineering drawings
  • Proficiency with computers for retrieving work instructions and documentation
  • Experience in an ISO 9001 / AS9100controlled environment preferably working on military or aerospace products
  • Knowledge of adhesives epoxies and mechanical assembly of small electronic devices
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
