Job Description:
If you love fixing things and providing a safe environment you will love this Maintenance Supervisor position. Be part of a cohesive and customer serviceoriented team! The Maintenance Supervisor develops and Implements facility maintenance policies and procedures in an efficient costeffective manner to safely meet residents needs In compliance with federal state and local requirements.
This position is full time 40 hours per week with a weektoweek on call rotation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements maintenance systems to meet residents needs In compliance with federal state and local requirements.
Determines the personnel requirements for the maintenance department and makes recommendations for sufficient staff to implement maintenance policies and procedures.
Develops and implements a monitoring system for the maintenance department and makes recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with federal state and local requirements.
Supervises the entire operation of the maintenance department.
Orders or requisition of supplies to operate the maintenance department.
Snow removal on the premises.
Insuring gutters are clear.
Daily maintenance of fountains.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum one year in maintenance position
General knowledge of boilers electrical plumbing and HVAC
The candidate will require the skills to track and report on various audits and certifications pertaining to the entire facility and its daily running.
Must have proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word.
Motor vehicle records check.
Broad vocational and work experience training background.
Possess knowledge of general maintenance such as: boilers heating and air conditioning units refrigerators freezers electrical wiring plumbing etc.
