Hourly Rate: $41.62 $55.77 with benefit package

El Dorado Transit is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead its HR Department. This fulltime management position is responsible for all HR operations including employee and labor relations benefits administration recruitment training policy development and oversight of the agencys DOT/FTA Drug and Alcohol Program.
The HR Manager reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a vital role in ensuring agencywide compliance with state and federal labor laws internal policies and collective bargaining agreements.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be a confident and collaborative HR professional with strong knowledge of California labor law excellent communication skills and experience managing HR functions in a dynamic environment. Public sector experience is helpful but not required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to a bachelors degree from an accredited fouryear college or university with major coursework human resources management business administration public administration or a related field and six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional human resources program experience including two (2) years in management capacity.
Possession of a PHR certification at date of appointment to the classification; an SPHR certification is preferred.
