Job Details
The Product Demonstrator will drive sales by creating a food presentation that will generate visual and sensory excitement while increasing brand recognition through demonstrations sampling and product education. Guided by our Vision and Values the Product Demonstrator will build and nurture strong relationships with consumers customers and DeLallo team members.
Deliverables:
- Travel locally to storelevel accounts to promote DeLallo products host product demonstrations and samplings.
- Speak confidently and knowledgably about DeLallo products and benefits with consumers and customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of industry and customer brands.
- Introduce new items and special opportunities.
- Has desire and ability to proactively intercept engage interact and sell products to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves fryers skillets and knives. Can maintain a clean sterile and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals
Schedule:
- Must be available on the weekendsfor Friday Saturday & Sundaydemonstrations
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous food demonstration culinary or grocery experience preferred.
- Valid drivers license without restrictions and proof of current vehicle insurance.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within the company and assigned accounts.
- Willingness to learn and work in all areas of the business as needs dictate.

Founded in 1950 the George DeLallo Company is a familyowned manufacturer and distributor of specialty Italian and Mediterranean foods. As pioneers and leaders of the industry we have expanded from our beginnings in Jeannette PA as a roadside Italian marketplace to multiple locations. Our corporate office and distribution center is in Mount Pleasant PA where welead our national sales teams and operate our fleet to service customers. We operate three olive and antipasto production facilities in Mount Pleasant Penn PA and Oroville CA. In addition we own and operate our very own olive orchard in Oroville CA as well as an industrial bakery in Bridgeville PA.
