What youll do
As aSecurity Officer youll enjoy your work and take pride in delighting ourguests:
- You will be responsible for the protection of theCompanys property from loss or damage as well as providing a safe and secureenvironment for its guests and colleagues.
- You will be responsible for FLHSS (Fire LifeHealth Safety and Security) of the hotel adhering to our set company rulesand regulation standards. This includes review on protective and preventativesecurity measures that ensures our guests receives nothing but the bestexperience.
- Recording all relevant incidents in the OccurrenceBook conduct regular patrols of the building records hazard andcommunicate findings for action in compliance particular to RiskAssessment strategies
- Ensuring that CCTV / workrelated security andsurveillance systems are professionally operated at all times when assigned andto relay all pertinent information to relevant stakeholders or Area Director ofSecurity
- You will be convergent of and comply with safeworking practises as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 andCompany H & S Manual as applicable to your place of work.
- Conducts random audits in all departments to ensurethe policy on key control Lost and Found processes and adhered to securityCode of Practice
The itemsshared are the essence of a day in the life of a Security Officer but wellmake sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.
Theoperational hours of work are shiftbased and may be subjected to change. Thesecurrently set as:
Shiftrotation on 4 shifts on 4 shifts off mixt of days and night.

What youll bring
Essential Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a security functionrole at least 3 years experience working in a hotel corporate or luxuryretail sector as a security officer
- Qualifications SIA Level 2 Door Supervisor qualification
- Level 3 award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
- Fire Marshal course
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal proven abilityto communicate well under pressure.
- Relevant experience in operating CCTV and access control software;following the hotel policy concerning GDPR compliance regarding monitoring andreviewing CCTV footage.
- Conduct regular H&S and Fire Safety audits across the property; reportany findings to the security management team.
- You will protect the Companys property from lossor damage and provide a safe and secure environment for its guests andcolleagues.
