Location: Birmingham relocation packages available

What Were Looking For:

  • FRCA qualified
  • Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice
  • Entry on the Specialist Register in Anaesthesia (or entry expected within 6 months of the interview)
  • Clinical training and experience equivalent to CCT in Chronic Pain Anaesthesia

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and developing Chronic Pain services in line with strategic requirements
  • Providing routine and emergency Chronic Pain care including outofhours cover
  • Offering consultation and advisory services to colleagues across specialties
  • Developing a special interest to complement the existing Consultant team
  • Leading and participating in education and training for junior doctors medical students nurses paramedics and GPs
  • Liaising with specialists and contributing to postgraduate activities
  • Driving innovation in Chronic Pain Anaesthesia including research service improvement and community outreach
