Job Description

KOMAN Sustainable Solutions LLC is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to perform QC on our federal project in Del Rio TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leads the planning development and implementation of quality control systems for the project.
  • Conduct routine quality control inspections on all electrical and mechanical aspects of the construction project
  • Review plans and blue prints and ensure electricians are following specs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with site policies.
  • Understand schematics and technical manuals
  • Assist the Electrician which may involve doing basic tasks such as handling the tools and it may also involve working independently from the Electrician at times on electrical tasks that require less skill or experience
  • Collaborate with other electrical staff to identify and solve problems.
  • Use educational training for learning all procedures for installing and maintaining electrical systems as well as local and federal regulations and safety requirements.
  • Assists with and completes maintenance work orders on electrical equipment. This includes testing malfunctioning equipment identifying defects troubleshooting repairing equipment and replacing defective parts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 510 years of electrical contracting experience.
  • 5 years overseeing electrical installations and upgrades on a construction site.
  • 2 years experience as a QA/QC on electrical projects.
  • Federal government contracting experience is preferred.
  • Previous apprentice experience is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical codes.
  • Flexibility with regards to the work location hours of work and duties
