Mathematics Program Director
Reports to: Head of school
General Description and Goals:
As a member of the schoolbased administrative team the Program Director is a critical voice in executing the vision of Boston Latin School leading teachers in a Professional Learning Community and supporting students in preparation for successful college studies responsible and engaged citizenship and a rewarding life.
The Program Director is responsible for providing department based leadership and support in the following areas: implementation of schoolbased and citywide learning standards curriculum development and assessment professional development supervision and evaluation program budget and inventory and the development of external partnerships.

Terms: BASAS Group 9A 209 Days
The BASAS contract year runs from September 1 through August 31. All BASAS members must work 209 school days with teachers. The additional days beyond the 183 school days shall be agreed upon with your supervisor. These days shall be considered nonscheduled work days and should be coded by your supervisor or secretary as S6500 in the timesheet. The additional days may be fulfilled before during or following the school year all work must be completed between September 1 and August 31.
