DMPS and Lincoln High School are looking for Special Education teachers with their Strat 1 endorsement or the willingness to obtain this endorsement.
There is a $5000 Hiring Bonus for new special education teachers in 2526.
Through the DMPS partnership with Drake University the district can pay for the tuition on necessary coursework for those interested in obtaining their special education endorsement in exchange for a commitment to remain teaching in the district for a certain amount of time (based on the number of credits needed).
