Job Description
Overview
Due to a rapidly growing workload ourAnkeny officehas an immediate need for asurvey technician.
Precise land surveying provides the groundwork for sound design and determines project success. Snyder & Associates Inc. coordinates with project teams to provide the data thatowners contractors and design professionals need to complete projects quickly and efficiently. We excel at meeting challenging scheduling demands even when the needs change once we arrive.
Responsibilities
Will bedirectly involved in thefieldwork of the following survey activities:
- ALTA Surveys
- Construction Staking
- Plat of Surveys
- Final Plats
- Topographic Survey & Utility Mapping
- Construction AsBuilt Surveys
- Acquisition Plats
- Easements
- PreliminaryD.O.T. Surveys
Qualifications
- Team player who is able to contribute on an individual basis
- Strong problem solving skills
- Efficient and safework habits
- Reliable punctual and regular attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions
- Ability to effectively and safely moveon foot throughactive construction sites and undeveloped ground uneven terrain and wooded sections of ground
- Must be able to safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
- Must be able to follow and abide by all company policies and procedures
